Privacy Policy
Lvl Up Basketball Academy Pty Ltd (ABN 33 679 727 738) respects your privacy and the privacy of the young athletes we coach. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we look after it.
1. What we collect
- Parent/guardian details: name, email and mobile number.
- Athlete details: name and date of birth.
- Health information: any current or previous injuries or medical conditions you choose to tell us about.
- Emergency contact name and phone number.
- Booking, attendance and coaching records, including coach notes about training and development.
- Photo/video consent and marketing preferences.
- Payment details are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Basic website usage statistics, which do not identify you.
2. Why we collect it
- To manage bookings, payments, trials and refunds.
- To run safe sessions: coaches use injury and emergency contact details to look after athletes.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders and important updates, and marketing if you've opted in.
- To track attendance and support each athlete's development.
3. Who can see it
- Only Lvl Up administrators and the coaches assigned to an athlete's sessions. Coaches cannot see payment details.
- Trusted service providers who help us run the business, including Stripe (payments), our website and database hosting provider, and our email delivery provider. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia.
- We never sell your information. We only share it with others where the law requires it or in an emergency involving an athlete's safety.
4. How we protect it
Information is stored in secure systems with access limited by role. Health information is used only to keep athletes safe.
5. How long we keep it
We keep records for as long as needed to provide our programs and meet legal and insurance obligations, then securely delete or de-identify them.
6. Photos and video
We only use photos or video of athletes whose parent or guardian has given consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can ask to access or correct the information we hold about you or your child, or unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
- To make a request or a complaint, email admin@lvlupbasketball.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
